4 Effective Tips to Make Burnt Cookware Look New Again in Minutes
Baking Soda and Lemon
Pour two tablespoons of baking soda onto the surface of the pan you want to restore. Cut a lemon in half and rub the surface.
Let it sit for 5 minutes then grate the other half of the lemon. Finally, rinse and wash as usual. Make sure to dry well.
potatoes and salt
Cut a raw potato in half, then pour a tablespoon of coarse salt onto the burnt surface of the pan or pot you want to salvage.
Rub the surface of the potatoes in a circular motion for about 3 minutes. Finally, clean as usual and apply a drop of olive oil. This last process protects the pan from the acidic effects of the potato.
White vinegar and baking soda
Pour 120 ml of white vinegar into the burnt pan and let sit for 5 minutes. Add 250 ml of water, bring to the boil with the vinegar, then remove from the heat and add the baking soda.
A bubbling reaction occurs which lasts for a few seconds. When finished, wipe the entire surface of the pan with a hard sponge. Finally, rinse normally.
Now that you know how to restore burnt cookware, try one of these methods to bring it back to its original condition.
