4 large apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Golden Delicious)
Half a cup of sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Half a teaspoon of nutmeg
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1/2 cup caramel sauce (or salted caramel sauce if you prefer)
