Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe

Prepare the Muffin Tin:
Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
Lightly grease the paper liners with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix the Batter:
In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about two minutes.
Beat in the eggs one at a time until well combined.
Add the baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract, and mix briefly until incorporated.
Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients:
Add half of the flour to the butter mixture and mix with a hand mixer until just combined.
Pour in the milk and stir until well combined.
Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to ensure everything is well mixed.
Add the remaining flour and mix until just combined.
Add Chocolate Chips:
Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
Fill the Muffin Tin:
Divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups.
Bake:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). While the oven is preheating, let the batter rest.
Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
After 7 minutes of baking, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Keep an eye on the muffins, as baking times may vary depending on your oven.
Cool:
Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your freshly baked chocolate chip muffins!
