Cinnamon Sugar-Coated Fried Dough Bites

Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add the milk, stirring until the dough comes together. It should be slightly sticky but manageable.
Shape the Dough Bites:

Heat the Oil:

In a shallow bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
While the dough bites are still warm, roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until they are well coated.
