Oil a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and set oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
Combine the yellow cake mix, sour cream, eggs, and vegetable oil in a big basin and stir until well blended.
After the baking dish is ready, pour in half of the batter and spread it out evenly.
Whisk together the cinnamon and brown sugar in one other bowl. After adding the batter to the baking dish, evenly distribute this mixture on top.
After layering the brown sugar and cinnamon, drizzle honey over top.
Carefully sprinkle the remaining batter over the brown sugar and honey layer. Pour it gently over the top.
To get a marbled look with the layers, gently swirl the batter with a knife.
For about forty to fifty minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, bake in a preheated oven.
While the cake is in the oven, make the glaze by combining the milk, vanilla essence, and powdered sugar.
After the cake has finished baking, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes. Then, drizzle the glaze over the top. Make sure the glaze has set before you serve it.

Tips and Variations
Incorporate a handful of chopped walnuts or pecans into the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture for an additional burst of flavor. Lighten up on the honey drizzle if you’d like a less sugary consistency. Another way to spice up this traditional dessert is to use other flavor extracts in the glaze. use almond or maple for example.
