You will need:
50 ml of hydrogen peroxide (3%)
3 tablespoons baking soda
1 piece of laundry soap
Procedure
In a plastic bottle, mix the hydrogen peroxide with the baking soda and finely grated soap. Stir the ingredients until the soap is completely dissolved, thus obtaining a thick foam.
Cleaning the detergent drawer
Take the drawer out of the washing machine and place it in a sink. Pour the foam into the drawer and let it sit for half an hour. Then clean it with a sponge and, for hard-to-reach areas, use a brush or cotton swab. Finally, rinse with clean water and let it dry.
As you may have noticed, it only takes about 30 minutes to clean the washing machine drawer. However, you will notice a significant improvement in the quality of the wash!
