How to unclog a clogged drain? It’s easier than you think and anyone can do it!

Start by pouring a cup of baking soda down the clogged drain, then pour boiling water over it.
Let it sit for a few minutes, then add the rest of the baking soda followed by the vinegar.

Cover the drain with a stopper (to contain the chemical reaction) and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. You will notice bubbles and foam forming due to the effervescent effect of the baking soda reacting with the vinegar.
Finally, rinse again with boiling water. You can repeat this method if necessary.
How Does It Work?

When baking soda (or sodium hydrogen carbonate) comes into contact with vinegar, a chemical reaction occurs, freeing the pipes. This mixture, combined with boiling water, dissolves grease and other impurities responsible for blockages. This method is not only effective but also environmentally friendly, avoiding the use of chemicals that are harmful to your health and the planet.
