Look at this Lemon Custard Cake
Recipe:
Preparation of lemon custard:
1. In a bowl:
Beat the egg with sugar until you get a clear and foamy compound.
2. Add the cornstarch:
Mix well to avoid lumps.
3. In a small pot:
Heat milk with lemon zest until it starts boiling.
4. Pour the hot milk:
Slowly in the egg and sugar compound, stirring constantly.
5. Put the compound back on the stove:
Add lemon juice and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cream thickens.
6. Remove from stove:
Leave the custard covered with transparent film to prevent the film from forming.
Preparation of the dough:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C:
Prepare a 22 cm mold, buttering and flouring slightly.
2. In a big bowl:
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until you get a clear and bubbly compound.
3. Add the seed oil:
And milk, stir well.
4. Add the flour:
And sift the yeast, mixing gently until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Assemble:
1. Add about 1/2 the dough:
In the prepared mould.
2. Add lemon custard:
Distributing it evenly over the dough.
3. Cover with the rest of the dough:
Leveling the surface with a spatula.
4. For more information:
Bake in a preheated oven to 180°C for about 35-40 minutes, checking of done by inserting wooden steak in the center and it comes out clean.
5. Let it cool down:
In the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a grill to cool completely.
6. Before I serve:
You can sprinkle with icing sugar for an elegant presentation.
