Rustic Italian Potato Bake: A Hearty and Flavorful Dinner
Preheat oven and prepare potatoes: Heat your oven to 355°F (180°C). In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with the olive oil, salt, pepper, a pinch of oregano and paprika. Make sure they are evenly coated.
Brown onion and cook meat: Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the chopped onion until softened and translucent. Add your ground meat of choice, season with salt, pepper and paprika and cook until golden and crumbled. Stir in the tomato sauce and simmer for a minute or two, then remove from the heat.
