Savor the Comfort: Minced Meat and Mashed Potato Casserole

    1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
      • Boil the potatoes in salted water until they are soft and break apart easily with a fork, about 15-20 minutes.
      • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter and milk, and mash until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside.

 

  1. Cook the Minced Meat:
      • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they start to soften, about 3-5 minutes.
      • Add the minced meat, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until it starts to brown.
      • Season the meat with salt, black pepper, meat seasoning, coriander, and paprika. Stir well to combine.

     

    • Add the diced bell pepper and tomato to the skillet. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are soft and the flavors meld.
  2. Assemble the Casserole:
    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
