Snowballs with vanilla sauce

Now separate the eggs and reserve the yolks for the sauce. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise.

Then boil the milk with 30 g caster sugar, the vanilla pod and salt and immediately remove from the heat. Then beat the egg whites with the caster sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy, mix with the lemon juice.
Now use a large spoon to cut 6 equal-sized gnocchi from the snow, put them in the hot milk and let them marinate for approx. 2 minutes, turn over and let them marinate for another 2-3 minutes.
