Western Tater Tot Casserole

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and drained corn. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the beef mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture.
Arrange frozen tater tots evenly on top of the cheese layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
